OFFICIAL squads and team lists have been released for the opening game of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin series, with the New South Wales Blues set to be led by a new captain.
Sea Eagles forward Jake Trbojevic will captain the Blues in the series opener at Sydney's Accor Stadium on June 5. The announcement was made today by NSW coach Michael Maguire as part of the official team announcement.
The Blues will welcome back several key players, including Tom Trbojevic, Cameron Murray, and Luke Keary, while uncapped players Jordan Young and Nicho Hynes have also earned call-ups to the squad.
